Elisha Silvera-Byers has served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at UAFA since 2021.

Mrs. Byers is an accomplished non-profit professional with a proven track record of positive results in community engagement, fundraising & program strategy.  Recognized for her ability to instill organizational vision and develop an atmosphere of teamwork focused on meeting short and long-term organizational goals.

Mrs. Byers experience includes over 25 years of fundraising, special events, and community engagement for several of the nation’s top non-profit organizations; Meals On Wheels Atlanta’s, National Medical Fellowships, Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, The Frank Ski Foundation and American Foundation for AIDS Research.
