Utopian Academy for the Arts was founded with the support of people like you–parents, guardians, extended family, neighbors, and business and community leaders – who believe that the children of Clayton County deserve a high-quality performing arts school with a rigorous academic program to prepare them for success in college and careers.
We know that together we can do great things. That is why volunteering is a requirement for parents and guardians at all UAFA schools.
At least one family representative must complete a background check and log 12 hours of volunteer time with us each year when we are in session on campus. The designated family volunteer must also acknowledge their commitment of service to UAFA by signing a contract pledging that they will be of support to their scholar and their UAFA school.
We are UNIQUE. We are UTOPIAN.
Volunteering is a terrific way to get to know the UAFA Community, as well as the strategic goals and needs of our schools. Our passionate, engaged parents and guardians work tirelessly to support our teachers and administrative team, our events, fundraisers, academic ceremonies, and partnership activities.
We also invite community and corporate partners to volunteer. Join us soon!
